Annual Luncheon was FULL of Heroes

The 2014 New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) Heroes Luncheon was packed with New Mexicans who get involved and work to make positive changes in our state and nation. The keynote speaker, Mark Meckler, President and Founder of Citizens for Self Governance, provided an uplifting and encouraging message about every day heroes and the impact they make on society. He quoted President Ronald Regan that embodied the spirit of the event: “Those who say we are in a time where there are no heroes just don’t know where to look.”

Lt. Governor John Sanchez commented after receiving his Hero of the Year Award and stressed the importance of each and every person – including YOU – to be involved in their community and be a Hero in whatever you do.

Each year, the New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) honors people who go ‘beyond their job description’ and put personal and political agendas aside in doing what is right for New Mexico. Nominations were accepted for multiple categories and this year’s winners included:
