2024 LEGISLATIVE INFO
NMBC will communicate with legislators, throughout the 30-day session, encouraging them to support good legislation and oppose toxic bills. You can count on NMBC to do these things during the 2024 Legislative Session:
- Keep Elected Officials Accountable:
- NMBC established our Legislative and Policy Positions for the session and we will be sending them to each NM Senator and Representative shortly.
- Advocate for all New Mexicans:
- We will testify during the session when public comments are taken, send legislators Letters & Public Comments ahead of the committee hearing, and will encourage grassroots advocacy by having our members use Call to Action forms countless times on legislation that needs to be stopped or promoted.
- Tracking Legislation:
There are too many bills for most people to keep track of so that’s where NMBC’s BillTracker comes in; highlighting selected legislation in real time.
