Changing overtime rules pose big questions for employers: New overtime regulations set to take effect December 1 will affect an estimated 4.2 million white-collar workers across the country. Going forward, employees who earn less than $47,476 per year cannot be exempt, (salaried employees) who do not earn overtime. That means many employees formerly considered low level managers who were working over 40 hours per week will be eligible for overtime. Details on the new overtime rules HERE.
