New Mexico Business Coalition is pleased to recognize and highlight businesses that are not only job providers but also know what it means to be a good corporate neighbor. We have a great example with ConocoPhillips who recently went above and beyond to support Native American students seeking higher education in energy related fields.
Thanks to the generosity of ConocoPhillips, San Juan College’s School of Energy in Farmington, New Mexico now has $60,000 in scholarships available for Native American students in New Mexico. “Our commitment to building a
diverse and inclusive workforce is foundational to our SPIRIT Values. Our partnership with San Juan College helps ensure that students have the training and resources needed to explore, advance, and evolve in a career within our vital industry,” said ConocoPhillips Senior Advocate Louis Salazar.
Over the course of the past 25 years, ConocoPhillips has contributed nearly $850,000 in support of San Juan College and its students. ConocoPhillips is a global, independent exploration and production company headquartered in Houston, Texas with operations in New Mexico. Read more HERE.
