SAVE THE DATE, May 11: The next Energy BASH, featuring Secretary Ken McQueen, New Mexico Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department, will be in Albuquerque on May 11, from 4:30 – 6:30. Details and ticket info will be out soon!

LAWSUIT UPDATE: Yesterday, NMBC joined over 20 groups who make up the Albuquerque Coalition for a Healthy Economy (ACHE), in filing a lawsuit opposing the Albuquerque mandated sick-leave ordinance. The ordinance, backed by Organizers in the Land of Enchantment (OLE) and other progressive groups, is scheduled to be on the ABQ election ballot in October of this year. If passed, this ordinance will be the most excessive mandated time off regulation in the nation – sure to kill more jobs and drive more businesses out of New Mexico. See more on the lawsuit and the mandated sick leave ordinance HERE from KOB4 News.
