Govt. Barriers Hurt Biz Opportunities

The New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) believes government regulation should provide for general safety and fairness in business practices, but allow free enterprise to operate effectively in job creation and strengthening our economy. In the ongoing Old Town Farm case, the complete opposite happened with a government agency literally padlocking an access gate to this business. . . an access gate that has been used for 37 years. Businesses Feel Effects of ACA: Months into the full Affordable Care Act, business owners are being forced to find ways to keep the doors open and many have had to reduce benefits or drop coverage altogether.
