As we said before, we hope there isn’t just a free-for-all spending spree with this money. Besides funding the general operation of the state and our schools, we need to focus on public safety, because parts of New Mexico are being compared to Chicago and if we don’t fix the problem immediately, we could have an ongoing out-of-control crime issue in our state.
