Once again, Netflix is expanding it’s movie production operations in New Mexico. This will provide about 1,000 production jobs and $1 billion in production spending. On top of that, this expansion is estimated to bring work to approximately 1,450 construction workers. This is great news for New Mexico, the economy and our workforce.

Netflix has benefited greatly over the past year when movie theaters were closed due to Covid. Now that local theaters, restaurants and bars, and other businesses are open or are in the process of reopening, NMBC would encourage New Mexicans to get out and patronize these establishments that have been hit so hard during the pandemic.  Eat, drink and go see a movie and support local businesses.
