It’s important that voter’s are careful who they vote for as U.S. President, since he will affect all parts of American life from laws and legislation, to financial stability, and other matters. We encourage voters to look at the qualifications, experience, and positions of each candidate, not their party, so strong leadership is elected. Listed below are the major candidates running for these positions:
U.S. President

Experience:
- She worked in the district attorney (DA) office of Alameda County, before being recruited to the San Francisco DA’s Office, and later the City Attorney of San Francisco’s office.
- She was the DA of San Francisco from 2003-2010, was elected AG of California in 2010, re-elected in 2014, then served as the junior U.S. senator from California from 2017-2021.
- She has served as Vice President since 2021.

Experience:
- He served in the National Guard for 24 years after enlisting in 1981 and worked as a social studies teacher and football coach during that time as well.
- He also served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2007-2019, representing Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District.
- He has been Minnesota’s Governor since 2019.
