Senate Pro Tem Mary Kay Papen spoke about the importance of non-partisan, cooperative work by those elected to serve in Santa Fe. She recapped the 2015 legislative session and provided insight on some of the issues faced during those 60 days.
Rep Larry Larranaga updated the crowd on HB 482, Reduce Some Unemployment Benefits and Rep Dennis Roch discussed his work on HB 75, Employee Preference Act. Both Larranaga and Roch talked about why those bills are so critical for New Mexico and their passion to continue working to see them passed into law.
The NMBC Board of Directors also took the stage and confirmed the NMBC’s firm commitment to a non-partisan, private sector, pro-business agenda under the continued leadership of Carla Sonntag, NMBC President and Founder.
Thank you to all who attended the BASH!
NMBC BASH events provide social and business networking opportunities and quality, one-on-one time with pro-business community leaders. These are the leaders who work hard to keep New Mexico moving in the right direction and understand that prosperity, jobs and improved quality of life come from the private sector rather than government growth.
A special thank you to our BASH Sponsor: New Mexico American Fire and Sprinkler Association
