Call to Action, Support HB 113 WORKERS’ COMP PAYMENT FOR INTENT OR DRUG USE and HB 290 WORKERS’ COMP BENEFITS & INTOXICATION: HB 113 is being sponsored by Rep Dennis Roch, and HB 290 is sponsored by Rep Zachary Cook. These bills prohibit payment of worker’s comp benefits if the worker is injured while using alcohol or drugs. They are being considered TODAY, 2-6-14, at 1:30 PM, in the House Labor and Human Resources Committee.

The NMBC supports legislation that creates a positive business environment. The NMBC encourages New Mexicans to contact the Chair and all members of the Labor and Human Resources Committee and ask them to VOTE YES on HB 113 and HB 290.
