New Mexico Business Coalition has been reaching out to all House and Senate candidates participating in a primary race this year to learn more about their positions on the issues that matter most to business owners and operators. Because the candidates running in these primary races do not have a voting record for citizens to review, our candidate survey seeks to provide voters with a sampling of where they stand on a business related matters from tax reform to regulations and everything in between.
Below are the complete and unedited responses from every candidate who participated that has an upcoming primary race ordered by district. If you do not know what district you are in, you can easily look it up HERE. Candidates that have no competition for the primary will have their responses published after the primary and as the state draws closer to the November general election. Incumbent members of the NM House and Senate are included below with an A-F letter grade based on their voting history, support for less government interference, and efforts to encourage a healthy business environment for the state.
