CARES business grant information and webinar

The New Mexico state legislature approved $100 Million in CARES Act grants for small businesses in New Mexico with priority given to the hospitality and leisure businesses. These small business grants will go to New Mexico businesses with fewer than 100 employees and will not exceed $50,000. The grants will be administered through the NM Finance Authority.
 
To help provide information and resources the New Mexico Economic Development Department is hosting a webinar on Thursday December 3rd with the New Mexico Finance Authority (NMFA) to inform small business owners about the new CARES Continuity Grant program. This grant program was created by the State of New Mexico in the November Special Session, and will be administered through NMFA. Applications will open the week of December 7. Information and the application for the CARES Continuity Grants will be available at the New Mexico Finance Authority website.
