Chevron steps up support for Permian nonprofits

Chevron has a long and vibrant history of growth and success in southern NM; offering high paying jobs, providing the oil revenue for our schools and roads, and now giving back when they are needed.  NMBC is proud to give a shout out to Chevron, who is $tepping up BIG to help New Mexicans struggling with the COVID-19 virus. During this economic and economic crises, Chevron announced on Friday that they will be contributing $230,000 to local nonprofits across the Permian in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.  

Funds from Chevron will go towards community COVID-19 response efforts, with a focus on food and housing security.Linda Dodd, executive director of the Eddy County United Way, said, “This donation comes at a time when our agency is going full throttle to fulfill our mission of meeting community needs, whether they be senior citizen meals, food for children and families, housing insecurity, and more.
