Intelligent and Timely Decisions that Deserve Voter’s Support: Some elected officials, like Judge Judith Nakamura, remain true to values that strengthen our state. Refusing to become a part of the dysfunction and delay tactics that some within the judicial system propagate, Judge Nakamura is known for standing her ground with comments like, “Not this court. You’re asking me to step into you all’s dysfunction and delay, and I’m not going to do that.” See more on this ABQ Journal story here.

Dysfunction and Gridlock that Voters Should Reject: On the other hand, some elected officials seem to further political agendas to the detriment of our country. While 65 percent of Americans support approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline and there have been five favorable and no unfavorable environmental reviews of the project, President Obama has continuously delayed it. Last Friday marked six years since TransCanada Corp. applied for a permit to build the pipeline. By continuing to delay Keystone, the President is standing in the way of economic progress.
