Dub Girand, a small business owner and member of the New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC), submitted a well written letter that is on target for this issue. Speaking from his experiences running a local business, Mr. Girand makes the point that policy issues like minimum wage should be law, not a part of the NM Constitution.
The New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) opposes SJR 13 and encourages New Mexicans to contact all Representatives NOW and ask them to VOTE NO on SJR 13.
If SJR passes the House, it will be on the ballot in November.
