Thanks to circulating tax dollars, new and existing businesses will finally have the financial support they need to stay in business in the Downtown area!
Taxpayer money that funded the American Rescue Plan Act in March of 2021, is now coming back to the Albuquerque area, allowing businesses to claim this money. $30,000-$35,000 will be given to each of the 15 businesses that claimed the money on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis from this act. Out of those businesses, six of them are new businesses are brand new and will be opening shop in 2023. This will bring more business, cash flow, and a stronger economy to the Downtown Albuquerque area; something that is much needed.
