Representative Gabe Vasquez hosting a “Resist Trump” Townhall Event April 29th, 2025 – On April 16, 2025, New Mexico Congressman Gabe Vasquez discussed national issues that impact New Mexicans with constituents of the 2nd Congressional District. One in particular, was the Laken Riley Act and how he believes it took “courage” to vote against it. That very bill, directs Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to detain and deport criminals who have illegally crossed into the county and commit further crimes.
