The Copper Flat Mine, located 20 miles south of Truth or Consequences, will employ approximately 270 full and part time employees with an average annual salary ranging from $35,000 to $60,000 plus benefits. Over the life of the mine, an estimated $175 million in tax revenue will be realized, $53 million of which will directly benefit New Mexico.
