This is another example of millions of tax dollars being spent to address homeless issues that is wasted due to mismanagement and a lack of enforcement on public safety laws, rules and basic standards of living. Some city of Albuquerque officials use Las Cruces’ response to homelessness as a model of success.

This report gives insight into the reality of the situation. The homeless who are wanting help say it’s not working and those living near the government funded facility are forced to deal with increased crime, reduced quality of life and loss of property values.
