New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC)is grateful for Governor Lujan Grisham’s proactive response to the Coronavirus that helped to stifle infection and death rates as compared to other states. But the shutdown of businesses in all sectors is taking it’s toll on New Mexicans. The rules of the shutdown have been clear and fruitful in helping to slow the spread of the virus, but the path back to normalcy has been a looming question on everyone’s mind.
While some political party leaders argue and the Governor focuses on containing the outbreak, NMBC has been hard at work crafting a safe, sensible, and incremental plan for how to get New Mexico back to work. NMBC has sent the plan to Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and is gaining traction with the media, but we need your help to make the plan into a reality. To make your voice heard and demand a plan of action for recovery, we encourage everyone to sign the petition below calling on Governor Lujan Grisham to publish a road map to “Get New Mexico Back To Work.”
