STAND WITH ABQ SMALL BUSINESSES!
In 2011, Denver voters said NO to a similar “sick leave” law — but, did you know, that the law Denver voted down was actually MUCH LESS EXTREME & MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than the proposed law on our ballot?
Denver voted NO against an onerous and job-killing ordinance, and look at Denver now — thriving. Let’s follow Denver’s smart business lead, and VOTE AGAINST the proposed “sick leave” ordinance. We all agree paid and earned time off is important. There MUST BE BETTER WAY than mandating it through 7 pages of job-killing legalese.
