State permanent funds on track to provide $1 billion a year to New Mexico’s general fund and schools: Thanks to FY 2017’s robust performance, New Mexico’s Land Grand Permanent Fund and Severence Tax funds will pay out a record $903 million to the general fund in FY 2018, up from $842.5 million last year.
