New Mexico Business Coalition (NMBC) has grown since 2009 into a formidable, outspoken advocate for pro-business public policy and increased private sector job opportunities for New Mexicans. One of the key elements of a brighter future is great businesses that provide the jobs, products and services that improve the quality of life for all New Mexicans. NMBC is glad to profile some of those businesses: This week we feature Melanie Burns, owner of Achievement Gallery in Albuquerque.
Achievement Gallery is a local, woman-owned small business sspecializing in corporate gifts, promotional items, apparel for New Mexico and national companies, and creating custom picture framing.
Melanie’s passion and secret to success is a blend of entrepreneurial vision and community involvement. A graduate of Highland High School in Albuquerque, she leads Achievement Gallery with the goal of promoting art, culture, and engagement in the city she calls home. She also fully recognizes her loyal staff as the backbone of daily operations at Achievement Gallery, allowing Melanie to be a powerhouse for non-profit fundraising and other good causes.
In addition to her work with the gallery, Melanie has participated in community support initiatives, including serving as a Humane Education Ambassador and Sponsor, Home Front, for National Guard families, the Janet Vargas Memorial Fund, NAMASTE, a residential treatment center for children and, Mandy’s Farm, which provides living assistance to disabled New Mexicans, Rebound New Mexico & New Mexico Business Coalition’s annual Heroes Banquet and more!
Whether it’s tote bags, backpacks, polo shirts, pens, customized awards or customized framing, Achievement Gallery is proud to be a locally owned option for businesses or government needs.
