All New Mexico workers in the state may now be tested for COVID-19, regardless of symptoms, the state Department of Health announced Monday evening.

Those interested in testing, which the state says will be free of charge for both insured and uninsured people, can be tested at a drive-up clinic at Lovelace Hospital in Downtown Albuquerque from 9 a .m. to 3 p.m., according to a state news release.

“This includes: all government employees (state, county, municipal, federal, etc.), utility and construction workers, grocery and pharmacy employees, retail and wholesale, anyone in food service or other service industries, and any New Mexican at work who would like access to a test, symptomatic or not,” the release said.

People with insurance should bring their insurance card with them. The release notes people should limit themselves to two people per vehicle.

People with health-related questions about the new coronavirus may call the New Mexico Department of Health’s coronavirus hotline at 855-600-3453. For non-health-related questions or concerns call 833-551-0518 or visit newmexico.gov.
