Secrecy, Exclusion & Abuse of Power

A recent example is found in the title of a Bloomberg article: “Obama Quietly Raises ‘Carbon Price’ as Costs to Climate Increase”. What’s the problem? President Obama buried important policy that could cost businesses and the public billions of dollars in a little known rule regarding microwave ovens! Read the article HERE.

Is there anything we can do about it now that he is in his second term? Taking a page from the President’s own campaign: “YES WE CAN!” While we cannot control or stop what he does in secret with executive power, we can control what he does in Congress. How? By electing more pro-business candidates willing to take a stand for New Mexicans and stop the abuse of power from the executive branch.
